From our inception, In Mulieribus' mission statement has included both an artistic and philanthropic component. A portion of every concert proceeds will go to benefit various non-profit organizations that serve our community, particularly women and children in need

Past beneficiaries have included:

Cares Northwest - A medically-based child abuse assessment and intervention program that puts children first.

Portland Impact - Portland Impact's mission is to help people achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and to prevent and alleviate the effects of poverty.

Rose Haven - A community and intervention center for homeless women and their children in downtown Portland that provides a safe place to explore options that promote wholeness and self-empowerment.

Proceeds from the first concert of our 2007/08 Season, A December Feast on Wednesday, December 19th, will benefit the YWCA of Greater Portland. The YWCA strives to eliminate racism and discrimination in all its forms, and provides growth, education and leadership opportunities for women and families.
